Mall owner Marc Herring has been crafting stiks since 1976. Each stick is hand crafted and uniquely designed to fit its owner. Stikmon Stiks have been sold at numerous craft and art fairs across the US. In 2007, Stikmon Wood Werks was born and Marc embarked upon an epic journey into the magical world of his own Imagination. Many new creations emerged from the Elf’s Shelf Werkshop. Trivets, Tables, Coat Rack, Shelves, Toys, Children’s Desks and the most imaginitive creation…Wizard Wands. On the heals of popularity caused by some of the most imaginitive movies like; The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Spiderwyck, Percy Jackson and many others including Alice in Wonderland. Soon to be released The Sorcers Apprentice will continue to invigorate the world of wizardry, magic and the Imagination. Marc has been ahead of the curve for most of his life. A committed devotee of the teachings of the great  stories of Fairie and (Fairy Tales) and a student of Tolkiens imaginary world of Middle Earth (the Lord of the Rings) having read the tales over 25 times in 30 years. A visit to the Ozark Classic Crafts is incomplete without a tour of the Elf’s Shelf Werkshop and Marc’s personal museum for the wee folk of Fairie. Elves, gnomes, dwarves, leprechauns, unicorns and dragons and many others all call the Elf’s Shelf home. There is a fantastic mural that features well known fantasy figures like the Mad Hatter and Alice, Papa Smurf, and even a Fairy Godmother. Make sure you get the story of Bob, a dragon who lives in the mural and protects the trees and the legend of the dragon tears. You may even get your own dragon tear to keep, that is if your really a good person of course. nd now and came out of the deep

 In addition to Marc’s Wizard Wands he has created the finest childs writing desk. The Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland asked Alice “why is a raven like a writing desk?’ The answer is elementary…because Poe (Edgar Allen) wrote on them both. Think about it. 

Every ‘My Imagination Desk’ is  hand made right in the Ozark Classic Crafts Mall by Marc Herring. The desktop artwork is original designed and totally hand painted. Each desk will be monogrammed with the name of the child recipient.

Every child needs their own space. Space so that they may have thier own place that they can Imagine, Dream, Read, Write, Draw and Create. The ‘My Imagination Desk’© does just that.
